Contractors and consultants no longer have to complete a multitude of questionnaires if buyers of services turn to the Safety Schemes in Procurement forum.  SSIP was established for the purpose of helping buyers (clients) decide if the dutyholders that they appoint meet the stage 1 competency assessment, as detailed in the ACOP to the CDM Regulations 2007.
