This guy typifies everything that is wrong with English football.  He has limped about for the last year taking home a huge wage packet every month; then as soon as he is out of contract he demands a six figure weekly salary from the employer who got nil return on him for the last year.  3 succesive Chelsea managers couldn't find a place for him in their teams every week, and when he finally got off the bench into the England 11 at the World Cup he was rubbish.

Why have Liverpool signed this over-rated, over-hyped Prima Donna when they haven't any money?  Could it be to soften the blow when Gerrard finally goes to Madrid?
